Ceres AI lets you request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, free of charge. Follow the steps below.

How to request deletion

Email nemadenehal21@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account and data."
If you signed in with Google, send the request from that same Google account email — that is how we verify the request is really yours.
If you only ever used the app as a guest (anonymous account) and never signed in, say so. Guest accounts have no email attached, so include your Farm ID instead: open the app, go to Settings → About, where it is displayed.
We will confirm by email once it is processed. Requests are actioned within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Guest accounts: if you used Ceres AI without signing in and have already uninstalled the app, the account identifier is stored only on that device and is lost on uninstall. We may not be able to locate your data without the Farm ID. If that applies to you, email us anyway with whatever detail you have and we will do what we can.

Alternatively, if you only ever used Ceres AI as a guest and never signed in with Google, uninstalling the app removes your locally stored session. However, any data your account already synced to Firebase (dashboard history, garden entries, hardware readings, settings) is not automatically removed by uninstalling — use the email request above to fully delete that.

What gets deleted

Your account itself (guest/anonymous account or Google-linked account)
Your farm and hardware data: sensor node history, watering logs, valve settings, and thresholds
Your My Garden entries and crop assignments
Your saved Digital Doctor diagnosis history, if any was saved
Your notification history
Any advertising identifiers associated with your account

What may be retained, and for how long

Basic, aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics (for example, total watering events or general regional usage counts) may be retained indefinitely after deletion, since these are not tied back to your identity once your account is removed.

Backups held by our hosting provider (Google Firebase) may retain a copy for a short period after deletion before they are rotated out. Nothing is restored from those backups except in the event of a service failure.

Note that Google itself independently retains information tied to your Google account (such as your OAuth sign-in record with Google) as part of your own Google account, separate from Ceres AI. Deleting your Ceres AI account does not delete or affect your underlying Google account.

Partial deletion, without deleting your whole account

You can also request deletion of specific data only, for example just your Digital Doctor diagnosis history, or just your hardware/watering logs, while keeping your account and the rest of your data intact. Use the same email address above and specify what you'd like removed.
